Sliced apples, raisins and walnuts are sugared, dusted with cinnamon and nutmeg, and piled into a pastry shell. A sweet crumbly topping is sprinkled over the top. The whole pie is then loosely covered with aluminum foil, and baked until golden and brown.
A buttery marshmallow frosting fills the center of these mini yellow cakes. Dip the cakes into optional gelatin and coconut, and you've got a fun raspberry variation. You can buy boat-shaped mini cake pans or use our directions to make your own from foil.
This recipe calls for lots and lots of crumbled, maple-flavored bacon, chopped broccoli, red and green onion, red grapes and toasted almonds. Everything is then tossed with a sweet mayonnaise and vinegar dressing.
