LOGIC ‘Gaberlunzie: The Ancient One'

Labelled as a 'rapper' by society, Logic is an artist that’s main aim is to promote a positive message through his music. Born and raised in Brixton, South London, UK he grew up in a poverty driven environment. He is affiliated with the infamous PDC but his solo career really began when he performed at the well-respected record shop 'Deal Real Records' which used to be located in Carnaby Street. This is where he first performed to a crowd and the response he received was so good it gave him the confidence to continue on his path. Since then he has supported the likes of KRS-ONE, Immortal Technique and Saigon to name a few. As Logic continued to write new tracks and perform he joined forces with well known lyricist and recording artist Lowkey and together formed a duo called 'New World Order'.

This project had a strong concept with the whole idea being based around the feeling of us as a nation and planet need to realise the powers that be and have a plan. Logic is also the general in the 'Peoples Army', a movement of like-minded people making quality lyrical Hip-Hop. Now in 2010, Logic unleashes his latest project 'Gaberlunzie: The Ancient One’ which is absolutely FREE! That’s right people; here is a collection of superb music that actually makes you feel proud to be British!!

U.K rapper Manny Moscow has been making a name for himself of late, with a succession of solid releases under his belt. After dropping his ‘Three Track Excursion EP’ back in October 2008, he has hooked up some of the most influential people in the European Hip-Hop scene. It all started back in April 2009 when Manny Moscow hooked up Tricksta from UK Runnings to drop his debut mixtape ‘Live From The Kremlin’. Since then he has been on his grind hard, hosting LATE’s ‘Underground Exposure Volume 7’ mixtape and doing exclusives for the likes of DJ Ames, Deluxe from Dark Horse Productions, Jabba Tha Kut, Chronic Redeye, HHB Radio.com & OYM Records and the legendary DJ Drama. At the start of July 2009 Manny Moscow dropped his second mixtape ‘From London to Berlin’ with Germany’s number one mixtape DJ Easy which has over a 1000 downloads in four days! In the meantime producer and remixer ‘The Beat Thief’ got in touch with Manny Moscow through Park Street PR after hearing his debut mixtape ‘Live From The Kremlin’.

After a string of talks, Moscow agreed to let the Beat Thief have a bunch of accapella’s to remix. The Beat Thief is a talented producer who has spent the last two years promoting DowntownSoul Records, the home of some of most talented UK artists such as OC Jigga, Haka and Shanakee Rap, and has more recently been making a name for himself through his work with Poetic Pilgrimage. This is the first of a trilogy of remix albums from the Beat Thief, which sees him remix and re-conceptualise a project. Here he has done this brilliantly, with bags of creativity and clever ideas and all delivered in two weeks flat! This is Hip-Hop at its best and just shows that with the effort, the inventiveness, and the focus, great things can be achieved. ‘The Russian R3volution”, with a nod to classic boom-bap, Russian Oligarchs and South London all wrapped up in one neat package as Moscow delivers his incomparable flows. Next up from Manny Moscow is a mixtape with the UK mixtape messiah DJ Ames called ‘No Games’ which drops in August, before Manny Moscow dropping his street album ‘The Boy With The Lost Flow’ with Tricksta from UK Runnings and Wolftown. Born and raised in the UK’s second city, Birmingham, Tusche Leon De Costa is of West Indian and Portuguese heritage. Tusche Costa started his music career in a seven man crew called Movemakers, doing shows in and around their city. The group eventually split up, although all members all remain close. Tusche Costa who was also known locally as a footballer player carried on developing his sound and working on crafting a unique style. He then started to network more and got introduced to other artists which aided his development before coming back as a solo artist. After a mass street altercation left him temporally blind, Tusche decided to pick up the pen and as a way to keep him out of trouble. Tusche believes this was god’s way of talking to him, so he took this energy and channeled it into the Hip-Hop art form that he had become so attached too. This would be the real turning point, the start of a new era of pure focus, dedication and determination.

In 2008 the Birmingham rapper and songwriter hooked up with the UK’s award-winning mixtape grinder DJ Ames, who hosted and mixed ‘Street Bapist’, a debut release that would indeed get the underground talking. This release featured production from his cousin, the well-respected UK producer Urban Monk who has worked with a string of acts including Baby J, Moorish Delta 7, Talvin Singh, Estelle and Akala, amongst others. Since then he was worked hard keeping his name out there on the mixtape series by featuring on mixtapes from the likes of DJ Ames and the legendary DJ Drama. Fast forward to summer 2009 and now we have the follow-up, the twelve track audio journey known to the world as ‘Crucifix’. Featuring production from E Dot Spencer, Beatbusta, Vakashu Sensei, Danari and of course, Urban Monk, this release is sure get tongues wagging in the underground yet again. There are a number of tracks on here with members of the Triple Darkness crew, Cyrus Malachi and M9ine, who can’t seem to put a foot wrong at the moment . Old favourites Sir Smurf Lil’ and Verb T are featured on a few tunes, as well as Mr Drastick who is definitely worth a look in at the moment.

No, I can't pronounce the name either but Audible Amelioration have named their EP after themselves so you'll have to get used to it! This is another bandcamp drop (stream the EP there) and is available to download for free from their myspace site.

The EP features a few nice UK guests who you'll be familiar with - Farma G and Brad Strut as well as DJ Para and Billy Butler Yeats (whose 'BounceBackAbility' Album is on its way). Most of the tracks are helmed by American MC Coherent Motion (or C-Motion) and the beats by Odious Din, Abject Theory and Relent are three things - quality, heavy and varied.

Relent's 'I Sit Alone' displays a hungry-as-ever Farma G alongside Billy Butler Yeats, C-Motion and DJ Para and Abject Theory's 'Stage is Set (alos with C-Motion) will smack you round the face - for real.

Synposis of Busalot

In the 70’s Mr Busalot was a popular British pornstar who came to prominence (& received his stage name) because of his ability to ejaculate a lot during scenes.
He later became bitter & angry at the industry after he was inevitably replaced by a younger, fresher pornstar who stole his limelight.
This bitterness soon turned to insanity & one day whilst entertaining a girl, who he’d recently started seeing, he proceeded to perform his famous act on the girl. The girl, not being a pornstar & not knowing his past was unprepared for his abundant spraying’ and drowned in it.
He got a twisted sense of power from this accident and after burying the body he purposely started seeking girls to do this to.
After doing this for a while, he started to get the attention he had been missing, as the news frenzy around the disappearance of the girls heightened.
One of the girls that he buried was found and they eventually linked it to Busalot…….. he was later executed.

The ghost of Busalot entered the rapper you hear, to give his side of the story but has now left him, since he's been able to now tell it.

Tough Touch Productions is a Bristol based Hip Hop group comprised of: Kali Mist (Producer and MC),
Social Conscience, Reggie Million$ and DOMC (MC's), DJ Kraf-T and Nicky Beats (Producer). They have
been busy this year, supporting the likes of Ill Bill, Anti-Pop Consortium, Taskforce, Blak Twang
playing at shows as far afield as Manchester and throughout the South West of England. Regular performances

want to be...". Tough Touch aren't about jumping on band-wagons to impress the skins generation, they
are just about Hip Hop music.
